| I apply grease to the contact points | BH Apr 25, 2002 3:04 PM | | I'm not sure what the rocking is from. They will develop this when they get old. I have a set that have worn holes under the cleats. I've been meaning to fill the holes with epoxy to get more life out of them. This shouldn't be a problem if they are new though. Are the cleats installed correctly? The pedals are very quiet if you grease the points where the cleat clips to the springs. |
| I apply grease to the contact points | monsta45 Apr 25, 2002 3:59 PM | | uhm, when i said they rock, i meant the "rock"- they kick ass. i had some shimano 646 before and had a hard time getting in and out. i will try greasing the points like you said- thanx |

| Put some grease in between the rubber boot... | arch Apr 25, 2002 6:44 PM | | and the pedal body itself. You should be able to sort of pry back the rubber. Mine were doing the same thing and that was the problem. I used Pedro's syngrease.

| You have to take the top plates off and clean... | Metroid Apr 26, 2002 4:58 AM | | Cleaning underneath the top plates seems to help. My long term solution was to sell them and buy Egg Beaters. Maybe I'll try them again when the new platforms come out. |
