| Top tube: Road vs Mtn | VetteRacer May 19, 2002 1:36 AM | | My road bike fits me almost perfect (damn close for a production frame). 11cm stem, etc. I am wondering if the mtn bike should have the same top tube length? seems like the fitting should be the same and such. Any comments? Matt |

On the other hand the seat tube of a mountain bike is considerably shorter; typically 3-4 inched less. |
