Need quick advice!(5 posts)

Need quick advice!Fisher15
May 19, 2002 5:10 PM
I currently ride a Fisher Big Sur that is about 5 years old. Its a pretty good aluminum frame job, and my question is this: I could get a brand new Cannondale caad 3 frame for $215. Would it be in my best intrest to go for it? Or is my frame good enough to keep? Thanks!

If their is nothing wrong with your current frame, why buy another?

You're probably right, I just came accros this deal and wanted to make sure it wasn't too much lighter, stiffer, etc than my current frame and too good of a deal to let pass. Thanks

Plus it would cost you more than just the frame price.shiggy©®™

Not all of the parts will swap directly over to the new frame.

Parts that may need to be replaced include the seatpost, stem, bottom bracket, headset, new cables and housing and the labor to make the swap.

Thanks guys- looks like I'll keep the fisher, maybe just do some simple upgrades.
