| Rubber adhesive to mend sidewalls? | Shylock May 19, 2002 6:18 PM | | I abraided the sidewall on my explorer pros to such an extent that the Stans liquid latex solution won't seal and the tire goes flat. Is there a rubber adhesive I can use to fill in the holes in the sidewall soo I can continue running Stans?
Thanks

| Shoe Goo and/or a glue patch... | Metroid May 20, 2002 4:53 AM | | Shoe Goo is good stuff. It remains pliable so it shouldn't crack. I have a couple tires with Shoe Goo and Rema patches on them. I would only use a patch on the inside of the tire though. |
