I just ordered riser bars and am not sure if they will work with my stem. I have a kore lite stem that only has one bolt for loosening. The front of the stem does not come off like most, which would be really convenient when changing bars. It just looks to me like I won't be able to work risers through my stem. Does anyone know if you can?

stem, some won't. It depends on the rise and how sharp the bend in the bar is. You can try it, but don't force it. If it will slide through without binding your good to go. If not, then it's time for a new stem.

Good Dirt

I have a Kore Lite with riser bars. An Answer Pro Taper. If you put a penny in the slot behind the adjusting bolt and tighten the bolt against the penny the stems bar hole is expanded and the bar will fit fine. Of course this trick can't be done many times because it weakens the stem and results in a crack. Good luck
