| Jamis Dragon cable stops??? | MRey Jun 14, 2002 7:55 PM | | I just purchased one of these frames from Jenson but the top tube cable stops have me confused. At first glance they appear to be regular triple stops, but upon closer inspection, the center one is just a guide. Did Jamis run a full housing in the center? Hopefully someone else that purchased one of these frames can help me out. Thanks. |
| It should have come with adapters... | fonseca Jun 14, 2002 8:12 PM | | ...to insert, so you don't have to run full housing. But if you use flak jackets you don't need them, as the end caps are large. If you look inside the jamis guides there is actually a small ridge which the flak jacket (and jagwire) ends can't fit past. At least, that was the case with my 2001 dakar expert. |
| Found em, Thanks | MRey Jun 14, 2002 8:21 PM | | They were lost in the box. I knew I had to be missing something since they came with v-brakes. I guess I started to panic on account of once buying a GT frame with the cable stops welded on backwards!!
Thanks again. |
