ok i eaither want a Specialized Enduro FSR or a Giant warp ds 1 but which would be better for me i know there totally different prices but should i get the better biker and have no money or get the cheaper bike and upgrade it later on with what i feel it lacks??i rode em both and thought the expensive one was better but that could just be in my head because it costs more. i want to do downhill, jumping, trails and stuff like that but i want it to be agressive when needed. im 14 and have done BMX but its not that fun and my dad let me try his cannondale h-600 and i like mtn biking better but cant use his bike cause it lacks the suspention and he will ride it

Thanks in advance ~Alex

Well, here's my 2 cents. I've owned a FSR Ground control comp in 98, a K2 4000, a FSR Enduro in 2001, a "first generation" XTC DS-1 From Giant, an NRS currently and a Marin Wolf Ridge currently. I avoided the WARP because I think this is a "dead end" bike. Meaning, not too worthy of upgrading after parts start to die off. I'd go with the FSR if these are your only choices. Better rear suspension design (bearings and horst link, etc) and frame is bullet proof.

But if you're open to suggestions, I'd consider one of the new Marin TARA series bikes. Or a last years model which is the same but not called "tara" by the advertising people. I sold my Enduro after buying my Marin because it never saw any dirt time. I was a die hard 4 bar linkage/horst link fan because it made the most "engineering" sense. But riding is believing. The Marins should run you as much or less than the FSRs. Although similar to the K2, the Marin seems better executed.

Hope that helps.
