| Paint for a cromo fork? | Steveo Sep 3, 2002 11:58 AM | | I've got a 4130 cromoly fork and the paint is chipping at the dropout area. I have sanded and put some clearcoat on but it still looks like crap - but it's not chipping yet.
What's the best home/garage paint that I can get from the corner Depot Hut or whatever? Should I just get a local automotive or motorcycle painter to put a durable finish on the fork for me? What do I ask for? |

If you insist, most any rattle can paint is fine and you can touch it up as needed. Rigid forks are easy to deal with. |
