| Which online bike shop is Canadian friendly (custom fees) | Mister W Sep 3, 2002 12:48 PM | | I heard about some bike shop that when you order from Canada, they can write on the box thatis for a warranty replacement. So we don't pay custom fees.
Anybody experience that,or have a good tip or place for ordering?
Thanx |
| I hope................ | Mike T. Sep 3, 2002 3:25 PM | | ....that no-one posts the name of an on-line bike shop here that breaks the law. If any shop will do this for you, and I know some that will, I'm sure they don't want their name plastered around after the have done someone a good deed.
Let me say this - none of the big ones will do it and some of the smaller ones might. There's one real good way to find out. |
| Why?? | Mister W Sep 3, 2002 5:19 PM | | Why?? They make money. They are an US shop, why that could bother them to help Canadian buying in USA ? |
| Why?? | Sofa Sep 3, 2002 5:39 PM | | the store doesn't make money from custom fees, the government does
Does anyone know the name and phone number of that crack dealer who had the good deals? Seriously, first one is free! |
| Why?? | American Sep 4, 2002 3:28 PM | | Demand your government to stop ripping you Canadian citizens off instead. The ridiculous taxes you guys pay up there wouldn't be tolerated in the USA. Don't ask us to do the dirty work for you! |
