| Nashville | gazpachoz Sep 3, 2002 2:31 PM | | Does anyone in Nashville know why Percy Warner Park is closed to mountain biking. I'm new in town and wondering if there is anything we can do to change that. |
| re: Nashville | Spaceman Spiff Sep 3, 2002 4:16 PM | | I lived down in Hendersonville for 6 years. 94-2000. It was closed already when I moved there. From what I heard it was closed by the horse people and nature people. I heard people were still doing night riding there but it was risky. If you are looking places to ride try Lock 4 and Hamilton Creek. Both are very different. Lock 4 is fast and whippy and very well maintained. Hamilton Creek is fun but very rough. Dual suspension recommended but not necessary. Ignore the cruisers in the parking lot. |

Cruisers were out in force Monday at Hamilton Creek, looked like a party. They're supposed to expand the trails at Hamilton sometime in the fall...the plan is to add more buff singletrack to the Beginners Loop. |
