Sep 4, 2002 2:59 AM | | I picked up a 185 rotor in March to mount to my X-Vert. Avid didn't have post mount adapters ready yet, so I made up a homemade spacer set to accomplish the job while I waited.
I've been in regular email contact with Avid since then, and they only just in the past two or three weeks got a couple of prototype adapters that they're happy with.
I don't know how much lead time they need, but they're close I can smell it!
Another option, if you don't want to wait any longer, may be to go with a 203mm rotor and pick up a Hayes 8" Manitou adapter.
