|  Yes its where the epic evolved from... | DeeEight Sep 4, 2002 12:40 PM | | Bergwerk designed and patented the frame a few years ago, Merida licensed it a year or so ago, and Merida now owns 49% of specialized. The only element of the epic design that specialized really added was the Brain shock from Fox and a redesigned linkage to actuate the shock (the Merida/Bergwerk version has the shock stanchion tube at the opposite end). |
