| FSA carbon crank with an OCTALINK sticker... | Obi Juan Nov 7, 2002 6:22 AM | | After all the hoopla FSA's been making about ISIS bb's they go and make a Shimano compliant crank. Weird huh? Wonder what the reason is. |

| hmmm... | TC Nov 7, 2002 11:56 AM | | The only other thing that comes to mind is that they want to provide a component for people looking to upgrade from lx or xt stuff and keep the BB. |
| re: FSA carbon crank with an OCTALINK sticker... | sal bass Nov 7, 2002 2:44 PM | | i've heard form two companies that make ISIS compatible cranks that they have had some issues with cranks not staying tight. there are TONS of variables so i won't even begin to specualte why this is, but both of those companies are testing their cranks with Octalink. |
| How about $$$$$$$$$$.... | RED5 Nov 7, 2002 5:57 PM | | more product choices = larger consumer base. JAT. |
| I think it is a Road bike thing | Fast Freddy Nov 7, 2002 7:46 PM | | I know the road cranks have been available in the Shimano V1 Octalink for a while. I've never see the MTB cranks in anything but ISIS. If you look carefully at the bottom of the pic you will see a tag that says FSA Carbon Pro Triple - which is their road crank.
Hope to have helped a little.....
