Ok...hopefully this will be the last time that we have to cover this...i already have an easton ec90 bar...thinking about getting the thomson stem...but from what i've heard it's not a good combo and some of the stems have been recalled...now has this problem with the easton bars been fixed?? or is it still a problem?? is it safe to still go with this combo??

There was no problem with the Easton bars. But there was a problem with the older Thomson stems they did a recall. The problem was the face plate if you have a five didget number above the THOMSON logo your good to go.If there is no number do not use it with a carbon bar. There is a ridge on the inside that will score the carbon and cause it to fail.So if you have the old version call Thomson and they will send a new remachined faceplate to you free of charge.
You are welcome -2-days no response.Where are the manners[nm]DIRTJUNKIE
