| can you use odi lock on grips on an easton monkey lite bar | knighTrain Dec 14, 2002 12:58 PM | | without screwing the suposive life time warrenty. |
| re: can you use odi lock on grips on an easton monkey lite bar | warthog Dec 14, 2002 2:33 PM | | Yeah, just make sure to sand down any sharp edges, just like you would on your shifters and brake levers. |
| I cracked an Easton carbon bar | AK Ken Dec 14, 2002 4:02 PM | | by cranking a bar end too tight. You might want to put a solid plug in the end of the bar just to be safe. I doubt you would crack it with the small diameter screw in the lock ring on those grips, but better safe than sorry.

| Running an Easton CT-2 w/ ODIs for about 2 years now... | næstep Dec 14, 2002 4:17 PM | | ...and they haven't left behind any distinguishing marks to cause me to think they'd violate the warranty any more than my stem clamp, brake levers or shifters do (which do leave faint scuffs in the outer finish).
