Dec 14, 2002 10:29 PM | | I have a Gemini 1000 and I want to swap out the Shimano Octalink for a Race Face Turbine LP crankset and ISIS Signature FR BB. The problem is that the Gemini has a Shimano E-type BB and derailleur and the E-type derailleur will not work with the ISIS BB. Is there any reason I can not run a standard 31.8mm, bottom swing, bottom pull derailleur? (e.g., will the swing arm hit a standard derailleur?)
