|   XTR Shifter Cable replacement question. | Single Track
Jan 22, 2003 4:40 PM | | I'm going to change out my shifter cables on my superlight. I purchased an XTR gear pack from Jenson. The ferrules that came in the pack are no where near similar to those that are on the bike. On the bike the ferrules are chrome and are rounded where they drop into the cable stops. The ones in the package have a long extension where they go into a female type reciever. My guess in they go on opposite sides of the cable stop and come together.
Question: Should I utilize the old ferrules of the new ones since they are so different? |
