Low pressure will rapidly strengthen today as it moves off the
Carolina coast today and into the North Atlantic. This Ocean storm
will Increase winds and drag down plenty of Arctic air across the
region. These conditions will be the coldest the region has
experienced in several years.

...not even my Specialized lobster claw gloves are warm enough for this $hit!!

c'mon March!!
Well at least my frame did not wait until spring to break.Troll

I guess if I had to pick a time of the year for my frame to break now is the best time.I'm trying to think positive.

Winter brings some of our best riding weather. Today is sunny with a high of 64-68 degrees F. I'm blowing out of the office at 3:00 to get in 1 1/2 ride up a local mountain (not a great technical ride but sure beats the gym). It rained slightly yesterday so I guess the bike is going to get a little yucky, eeewwwwwww ;o)

J E R K!!...(sniffle, sob, sob...) anything would beat the gym right now, hell a rails to trails 'trail' would suffice!!...if only I could keep my eyeballs from freezing!!

here in michigan, we havent been above 20 degrees F for around 3 weeks. our lows for the last week have been about 0F.

i know there are some very hardcore riders that would still be riding, but imho, this weather STINKS!

rhymes with freeeeeze. Wind gusts 20 to 40 mph causing white outs @
times. No ridin' that's why I'm peckin' @ this keyboard. YUCK !!!!
Pic was took through the window not too good res, much apologies.

truer words were never spoken...oh well, no matter what the weather is like this weekend I'm getting out there...I'm to that point where I'll have to deal with numb toes/fingers/face for the rest of the night, I don't care I just have to r i d e!!

well maybe not the BEST, but it's not the worst either. Here the ground is frozen with an inch of snow... that's about 10x better than the MUD we've had all Fall season. Night riding in the snow is awsome too. stop whining and ride! ;)

Mother nature fooled me and the weatherman, by the time I hit Kennedy, it was overcast, wet, misting and foggy. Being the brave NorCal guy that I am, I saddled up and went anyway ;o) Note to self, balding tires don't work so good on wet, soggy clay uphill sections. Took the Heckler (my mud pig) as I just washed the Blur. Stopped at the Honda dealer to check out an Element on the way home and completely looked like their focus group (except 2X age)!
