Best platform pedals for XC?(5 posts)

Best platform pedals for XC?Dave B

A few years back I bought a set of Azonic A-Frame pedals for technical XC riding.

I still use (and like) them, but now I'm considering of buying a second set of platforms, and wondering if there are better / lighter alternatives to the A-Frames. Easton Flatboys maybe?

Thank you.

Hi Dave, if you are looking to sell those A-Frames, please respond. I would suggest looking at the Shimano 646, since I have had good results with them. I'm looking to get some cheap A-frames for my FR beater though. LMK, thanks:)

Wellgo makes (or made) a magnesium flat pedal with sealed bearings -- very light and not too expensive either. It has almost exactly the same dimensions as my much more costly AtomLabs -- nice and thin under the foot.
