Feb 26, 2003 3:31 PM | | i was at my bike shop last weekend talking to a salesman about buying a touring bike for this summer, he started showing me some bikes and a couple racing bikes just for the hell of it, one of them was a kona prototype with a scandium frame. it was one of the lightest bikes i have ever touched and wasnt very expensive, does any one know anything about scandium frames and are they better than aluminum, steel, carbon, titanium? please post what u know
