hi all, im in the search for the best non-spd/clip shoe out there, currently i heard that if you have platform pedals then skate shoes would do the trick so i have my eyes on either the savier or osiris brand, but i want to hear everyones opinion in this matter and if you could list the pros and cons of your particular choice. thanks in advance!

Due to the 5.10 Impact's technical Stealth S1 sole, it is perfect for skateboarding, downhill mountain biking, mountain boarding, and any sport where staying on your feet is key. Stealth S1 rubber provides unbeatable traction.

Explanation on Stealth S1 rubber:
The ideal rubber for hiking shoes because it provides maximum shock absorption - far more than any average rubber outsoles. It's also highly durable and stickier than any other hiking shoe rubber on the market. Stealth S1® is somewhat softer than C4®, but equally durable. Every time you step on a sharp rock, the Stealth® soles are able to take some of that force, rather than reject it.
