Looking for a good place to night ride in the south bay. Got some JET lites for Christmas and I want to use them! Any suggestions? Is it legal? Thanks, JR

For reasons not entirely clear to me, most or all of the parks in the BA are closed at night. It's ridiculous. Lots of people poach night rides. I have been lectured by a ranger about it. Maybe the parks that have campgounds remain open.

As for a "good place", any place good to ride in the daytime is good to ride at night, except you might want to skip the jumps.

You might try riding at 4AM if you're worried about being caught. Believe me, no one will be checking at that hour. Because of the heat, that's what time we ride around here in the summer.
