I would spend a day 1t 18 Road and hit at least Joe's Ridge and Zippity Do Da. Those are the two best over there, in my opinion. I usually do a night loop on Joe's first thing. This is also a good place to camp and use as a base.
Go on over to the Loma/Kokopelli side next... Don't miss: Steve's Loop (awesome exposure and views as you ride along the edge of a cliff overlooking the river), Horsethief Bench (great quality singletrack), Troy Built and Moore Fun (I recommend taking this one West to East as the technical obstacles on the eastern end are very hard to clean going up, IMHO). If you are feeling strong, do the Grand Loop, which consists of Marys Loop, Horsethief Bench, Steve's Loop, Lion's Loop, then Troy Built. It is a relatively hard 20+ miles, but you get most of the classics in one shot.
Have fun!

My riding group went out there last April. Do not overlook trails in Grand Junction. My fav's were Gunny's Loop, Chutes & Ladders, Joe's Ridge. ince you will be near Moab, hit Slickrock, Porcupine Rim and Amasa Back.

Have fun!!
