Bombshell forks(2 posts)

Bombshell forksreek

Does anyone ride a bombshell fork? I read some reviews and just wanted more opinions. I have a Wendy and am a bit underwelmed with the action. The damping is great as is the stiffness. But I ordered the stiffer springs and still am having trouble finding a good rate. Plus I was just curious about durability as I just don't see or hear about the company too much in the X-country or "free ride" market.

Bombshell forks are weak in terms of customer service, performance and reliabilty--that's why nobody rides them. On paper, they LOOK good with motocross seals, 38mm stanchions etc, but in reality, its a piece of junk. Go with the "Big 3": RockShox, Manitou and Marzocchi. They are much better and reliable, especially the last 2; RS is kinda junky and has poorer quality.
