It was a co-workers Bianchi SISS. No worry. The only advice I would give is be very careful on the goat trail. Some of the larger mounds they have put in for drainage on the downhill sections. You can carry some serious speed into them and with your back end up higher than your front you can meet Mr. Ground pretty quickly.

Good Luck !!!
Shiggy, are you coming down to race? (nm)laffeaux

I'm driving down on Sunday morning (less than 2 hours from my house). I'm racing 35-39 Sport, and expect to finish near the rear fo the pack. Afterwards I'll be cruising around the boths.

I will be down there with our El Cerrito High Team, camping with some of the local teams. One of my coaches and me will be racing something like over 50 novice. I wear a black Cal Hat, 6 ft, skinny with a ponch, a flavor savor, salt and pepper hair (more salt than pepper) and talk all the time. Maybe I'll get a chance to meet you.
It''s gonna be a blast. I'm taking my 10 year old son Miguel and he is very excited. Partying will be...a... different. But, jeez, a beautiful weekend in Monterey is hard to beat.
There should be a designed MTBR meeting placelaffeaux

It would be cool to meet a few people and say hi. Shiggy is easy (if he has his neon green and blue bike along).
Gee...That's a hard one...how 'bout...shiggy

Did it on a '95 Marin Pine Mountain with semi slicks in 1hr 25 from top of Grind to top of Grind. Rough and got a headache but way faster than my full suspended- what do I do now?
