Bar ends question(3 posts)

Bar ends questionLost in Denver

My son just bought bar ends for his handle bars. He is wanting to put them on now. The Grip is one piece of rubber. Do you have to cut a section of that rubber off to put them on?
Thanks for helping someone out that knows nothing.

...slide the levers, shifters and grips in the inch or so that you need to make room for the bar ends.

I think he means there's a cap on the end, like Oury grips...yeah, you have to cut off the end (as much as you need to, to open it up; the more you cut off, the less you have to slide it in), then slide it on, leaving enough space for the barends.
