A headset is a headset be it King, FSA etc. Its kinda a set and forget type item. Will last years on end I am sure!

Dont bother upgrading a headset - It must be one of the lowest priorty items on a bike IMHO!
thanks for the input Trevor..nmwalter

If it is a low end head set on the bike, You will notice the differance even going to a mid grade head set. It will be smoother and also feel more solid. This will give you a better feel of what your front end is doing. I think that you don't need to spend big bucks. Though I haven't been doing this for long I can't see wearing out a headset that easily. Read some reviews. Look at cost, reliablility, and weight. Though I always pick the best I can affort then go one step higher.
