Best places in the East to ride and campEd Z

Summer holiday planning time! I do this keeping in mind that I serve many masters in my household. Here are the demographics- wife, 2 teenage daughters ( who ride) and the dog. Campgrounds with showers, reasonably close to some shopping for food , memorablia etc.makes life more tolerable. So far we've been to Vt., NH, ME on an eastern swing and NC ( Tsali and Pisgah) years ago. Loved the riding in Pisgah- Davidson campground was ok. Would very much appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

near Allentown, N.H. Nice campground, showers, swimming ponds and about 30+ miles of single/doubletrack to ride. We ride there about 3or4 times a summer.

Just Read the reviews! Great Climbs and Downhills, Dries fast after rain. Good location to jump over to WVA for a little riding. Just the opinion of a local virginian.

This is pretty good spot. Campground, swimming, some good single-track. The best part is that you're real close to a lot of other goodies. As far as riding goes you're near Lynn Woods, Dogtown, Middlesex Fells, and other locally known goodies. You could even hit Vietnam with a 45 minute drive. As far as family entertainment goes you're 30 minutes north of Boston, 45 minutes west from the beaches @ Cape Ann, and about 45 minutes southeast from Portland, ME.

If you're interested in getting some more info you can e-mail me.
