| inline skates | pherret May 21, 2003 1:15 PM | | Does anyone inline skate here? I have been toying at the idea of getting a pair of solomon tr magnesium 3. Any opinions on those skates? also do you find inline skating as much fun as cycling?
Thanks

I'll believe till the day I die that people with any type of depression would just strap on my wheels and go down a long and steep hill, they would be free of whatever's draggin em down. I do have a lot of fun on em. The longest I've been is 54 miles in the hills. I'm movin to Miami, Fl, in augest and can't wait to get em rollin there. RT |
| Not much anymore... | honda99ex May 21, 2003 7:16 PM | | I did it as a fitness exercise but have not been going as much. I find cycling gives me a better overall workout. Also here in the Northeast it's hard to find a nice stretch of blacktop to skate on. I find it unbearable almost to skate on rutty terrain or anything where there is lots of leaves, water, mud, etc. It requires way too much concentration to not kill yourself. This may have to do with my skates, I've owned Rollerblades in the $150 range with decent bearings and wheels but nothing top notch. |
