Pearl Izumi Vagabond/Vortex/Vaper...same fit?(4 posts)

Pearl Izumi Vagabond/Vortex/Vaper...same fit?entropy kid

I'm looking for a new pair of bike shoes and as always i'm having a decidedly hard time finding a pair that fits. My LSB had a pair of PI's Vaper in my size and it fits perfectly. Obviously, 190$ is not a sum that i would pay for a pair of shoes so i'd like to know whether the cheaper models of PI have the same fit (Vortex and Vagabond) so i could save some money.
Thanks

...different uppers. The basic shape is the same. The fit may be slightly different.

theres three of us using the vapers which are izumis top model where i ride and frankly, the stiff carbon sole has unglued on all three. i solved my problem with crazy glue but one of the guys lost his sole when trying to unclip. pretty bad for $150+
if body geometry fits you well you might get a better deal with specialized but you probably tried those already

...sole material. It may stay put better. I bought a pair a couple of months ago to put into my shoe rotation. So far, so good (and I like them. Much better shoe than your average $75 cycling shoe).
