Does anyone know what the cheapest way to mail a bike is?

I've found FedEx ground to be least expensive...
and minimum amt of hassle compared to UPS if you have to make a claim. FedEx has also been much friendlier to big boxes in my experience.

Just be sure to pad things very well so your frame doesn't get a dent or rear hangar bent.

good luck.

Fedex has the cheapest but best service, and they have always treated me right, except when they lost my new disc brakes the week before a race(grr...), but all in all fedex is much better.
Peace
John
