May 22, 2003 9:16 AM | | I'm going crazy here at work waiting for my 5-Spot to be finished. I just got a call from my LBS and they said that I could pick it up in about an hour. I'm stuck here at work trying to figure out how to escape.
I'll probably have to wait until lunch time.

Unfortunately, I'm back at work until 5. Then I have a pilates class with my wife....then I'll be riding.
I took a short 20 minute ride on the way back to work. Climbed a couple of hills and bombed down a couple...sweeeeeeet.
I'll post pics and a ride report real soon.
The build is just a little different than I listed, above. I went with Mavic 317 rims, Thompson stem, Conti Vert Pro tires. It's beautiful!!! |

May 22, 2003 6:06 PM | | Sweet ride. I just got an Id and was pondering the 5 Spot. I did a 3 mile climb on it with extremely low bob. Everyone I was riding with couldn't believe how little bob there was on a 5.75" travel bike. I heard the 5 Spot is about the same. Do tell and post some pics! |

I have a large red 5 Spot on order. Pre-ordered it Waaaaaayyy back. It first was an XL and they were delayed until last week. (shipping troubles)
I changed to a large which were already at the painters last week. So in theory, mine should be shipping to my LBS any day...annnyyy dayyy....aaaaannnnnyyy daaayyy.
