Anyone have these brakes? Are they the ULTIMATE in rim brakes ( cable actuated)?

i have the arch rivals (one step below). i upgraded from these to avid mechanical discs and see very little difference in performance. the avid arch brakes have great feel, adjustability and power. they're also very quiet. if you get them and ride in wet conditions, try the ritchey blue compound brake pads.

Had them prior to disc and loved em. Zero play very nice brakes.

yes, awesome brakes. Get the Ultimate levers and you are in rim brake nirvana. They suffer in slop conditions, just like every other rim brake. I have had no problems or issues, the brakes and levers are still just as tight as they were when they were new.
