Its a 98 with SID, XT cranks, XT V-Brakes, XT Shifters/Brake levers, XT Front dlr, XTR rear dlr, Bontranger Mustang wheels, Ringle stem, answer hyperlight handlebars, thomson seat post, selle seat, 747 pedals.
Any input would be appreciated. |

Jul 16, 2003 6:43 PM | | I bought the 8500 and almost a year after I bought it the frame cracked. Trek was just about into production for the next year and they presented me with two choices. I could wait a few weeks and get a new 8500 frame or they would give me a 8900 frame that was left over. The best part about the 8900 deal is that they gave me the SID fork and WTB headset as well. Pretty nice deal I must say. |
