DIFFERENCE on spec. s-works enduro and the comp frame?(4 posts)

DIFFERENCE on spec. s-works enduro and the comp frame?jeb

I need to know, what is the difference on these two frames(2003), the spec. enduro s-works frame and the spec. enduro comp frame, like stifness, bearings, geometri, weight, and so on, because if it is only the weight, i would go for the enduro comp frame.
The downtube is the only difference...Dutch

The S-Works downtube is made from a special aluminum that gives it more strength but less weight. Aside from that I believe they are identical...the S-Works might have a lockout on the Itch shock though where the Comp would not. See last months Mountain Bike Action as they reviewed the S-Works in depth and talk about the differences between the S-works and their other Enduro models.

Paint job and component spec are the biggies. Also, I believe the comp or base enduro shocks do not have lockout (as previously noted).
The S-Works is a lighter frameset than the Comp. nm.damion
