| DIFFERENCE on spec. s-works enduro and the comp frame? | jeb Jul 16, 2003 11:32 AM | | I need to know, what is the difference on these two frames(2003), the spec. enduro s-works frame and the spec. enduro comp frame, like stifness, bearings, geometri, weight, and so on, because if it is only the weight, i would go for the enduro comp frame. |
| The downtube is the only difference... | Dutch Jul 16, 2003 12:32 PM | | The S-Works downtube is made from a special aluminum that gives it more strength but less weight. Aside from that I believe they are identical...the S-Works might have a lockout on the Itch shock though where the Comp would not. See last months Mountain Bike Action as they reviewed the S-Works in depth and talk about the differences between the S-works and their other Enduro models. |

| The S-Works is a lighter frameset than the Comp. nm. | damion Jul 17, 2003 2:35 AM | | |
