Can someone recommend a long-lasting, waterproof grease to use on cartridge bearings and pivots on an FS bike.

i bought some "park tools" grease in a tube (tube is nice and convenient for handling and clean up) recently and it is very good...but you can get MAXIMA brand grease at your local motorcycle store/dealer that i am sure would cost less (by volume) and work great. In fact, one of the most recent article in either MB action or Bike recommended the Maxima Grease. Just be sure not to use grease on the coated bushings inside the shock pivots EX: my enduro has a coated insert (not bearing) in the upper and lower shock eyelet that is supposed to be dry.
I just got some Maximatlg

Pretty cheap too.
Bullshot is the best, but it's hard to find. nmMountain Cycle Shawn

...make sure that they aren't designed to be run "dry". Some bushing pivots should not be lubed as they are designed to be run dry and/or they are self-lubricating.
