will "schwinn" warrantee recent-older frames?capt pearl

I know a bit back there was some reservation regarding some of the schwinn frames like the homegrown and moab as the company was going under and wouldn't be there for the frame owner. Will the new WalMart driven Schwinn warrantee these frames? Can you get the warantee if you are not the original owner?

One last Schwinn question: how does the Moab compare to the Homegrown? My understanding is that the Moab is a low-buck Homegrown in terms of geometry and the s-stays in the rear triangle. Or am I way off course? (OK, it was 2 more questions. Sue me.)
