| NRS clicking sound follow-up (Problem found) | majorclyde Jul 17, 2003 7:34 AM | | Well we (the LBS) isolated every moving part on the bike and ultimately it came down to a problem in the rear shock. So we swapped out the rear shock and the clicking sound went away. Of course Rock Shox want is back to fix instead of replacing it. Never mind that the bike is only a month old. Oh well, luckily my guy at the LBS loaned me one of his own personal shocks so I could keep riding while mine while it is at the factory. Always great customer service. Have to plug them. Steven's Bike Shop. Fresno, California.
Not sure what is wrong with the shock yet, but when I find out I'll post another followup. Hope this help anyone else having the same problem. |
