Due to my SID being blown out I hadn't had my XC bike out in a while. Well on the first ride with a rebuilt fork.....I heard a snap and all the sudden the tire was rubbing on the chainstay. My first thought was some spokes broke, but I'm not that lucky. On inspecting the bike, the right rear dropout snapped clean in two. The frame is on it's way to TREK right now, a pretty blatent warranty issue. Has anybody delt with Trek/Klein warranty dept? I'll let you know how it goes. sorry about the shatty pic

Looks like a pretty clean break -- did a branch shear it off?

Good luck with Klein. Never had a warranty issue, but the CS dept is pretty good about free touch up paint!

I broke my 99 MantraRace JRA after about a year....they replaced it no problems but took about a month. I am now still riding that same Mantra and have had no problems since.

Good luck
