has anyone here used safety wires on their grips here? do they work good? how much do they cost? thanks

if you ever ride in humid or wet conditions, wiring your grips is a good idea -- saves trip to dentist if grip comes off unexpectantly

i used to use frame hanging wire (braided), but on a recent visit to a buddy who is a fishing fanatic in Florida, discovered that wire fishing leaders are the best: super thin and super strong; plus, they come pre-made with a loop at one end to get things started. They are so thin the embed themselves into the grips -- you don't even know they are there
