| roadie drivetrain on my mtb | ji Aug 15, 2003 8:05 AM | | can i put a Shimano Ultegra/D Ace crankset and a road cassette on my mtb?
I have an XTR crankset, XTR derailleurs, XT shifters, and an XT cassette on it now.
Can I use the XTR BB, the XT shifters, and XTR derailleurs?
Thanks |

Also a double crank will not work well with the bb, but the triple should if the width is right. The shifting may not be as crisp in the rear, but the shifters and rear der should work.
