Bianchi Ibex - Pivot Preventative Maintenance?(1 post)

Bianchi Ibex - Pivot Preventative Maintenance?Fred the Cross Poser
Sep 18, 2003 3:09 AM
I have got a 2003 Bianchi Ibex Frame (http://www.bianchiusa.com/site/bikes/36_Ibex.html). I do a lot of riding on an old railroad bed that features fine cinder dust. Is there anything I should do now to help offset wear in the frame's pivots? How do I maintain them?

Sorry for the obvious questions - Bianchi's manual is only helpful if I ever get confused about which bike is a mountain bike (it is the one with the knobby tires!)

I looked through the archives but didn't find much on pivot prevent maintenance.

Thanks in advance!
