|   Blur or Maverick?? | Otter
Sep 18, 2003 5:47 AM | | I'm getting a serious itch for a new ride. I was pretty well set on the Blur, but recently I've started taking notice of the Maverick ML7. I'm purly a XC rider who lives in the midwest, so there isn't a lot of drops or anything crazy going on. I do take a trip or two each year and go out west riding. I'm looking for a good climbing bike that can still help me out on the downhills. I tend to power up climbs out of the saddle versus sitting & spinning. I'm a larger rider at 5'11" and 210#, so I also want something that can hold up. Does anyone have any experience with both of these bikes? Anyone know what the pros and cons are for each? Sep 18, 2003 6:26 AM | | Send me an email at keithwp@earthlink.net I have some info I can forward you. I have fairly extensive experience on the Blur and Palomino but somewhat limited on the Maverick. The Palomino and Maverick share the same rear suspension and ride similarly.
