| I HIGHLY recommend Sheldon Brown's website | World B. Free Sep 19, 2003 8:08 AM | | I read it over about ten times to visualize exactly what I needed to do.
I screwed up my first lacing attempt, but after about four hours, I had finished my wheel, an 02 XTR hub laced to Bontrager ASYM Mustang wheel. Almost a year and many hamfisted descents later, only very minor truing was needed.
Have fun, its a great project to undertake. |

| ditto- Mike T + Sheldon's sites = excellent instructions | logbiter Sep 19, 2003 9:02 AM | | I've built a couple sets of wheels now using these 2 FAQ's... and they've held up waay better than any stock wheels I've got on about 5 various bikes over the last 15 yrs.
I can't say enough good stuff about both sites and these forums!
