Ebay question.. "Will ship to United States Only"Quest

If a seller is unwilling to send to Canada, is there anyway to get around this? Can you have it sent to a post office just across the border or is this just asking for trouble?

Any advice would be appreciated.

......and ASK them if they will ship to Canada. When they list their stuff they physically have to change bullets to list anywhere outside of Murrica. Canada is rarely in their consciousness.

Most will ship to Canada if asked.

As a Canadian EBay buyer, most sellers put "ship to US only", but if you email them, they generally will ship to Canada. Unless they explicity state in the item description that they will not ship to Canada, then I'd email them.

I sell on ebay quite a bit. I always put that I will ship to US only. However, if a buyer from Canada contacts me I have no problem selling to them as long as they agree to pay any additional shipping charges.

& Ask if they will ship to Canada. I always put that in my auctions to cut down on the overseas scam artist.

If you live near a border chances are you have a friend on the other side of it. Ask the seller if they will mail the item to the friend and have the friend bring it over the next time they are visiting. That's what I do and have had no problem at all.
