folks, currently moveing to germany does anyone here know of any adventure race teams or series in or around heidelberg? what about mtn bike racing?

Man, you will love that town (if you've got nothing against students and tourists that is). The hills are great, the scenery amazing etc etc etc. I live about 150Ks away so I have not much to do with the place but I do know that there is a group of English speaking MTBers there called 'mad milers' or some such. They have a web site which you can search up and they meet fairly regularly for trail rides (apparantly anyone is welcome) as well as doing a couple of longer rides a year (trans alp etc). WHat are they like as people? No idea, I just know about them, I don't know them. Think they're mainly americans and english.

Oh yeah the mad miler bit comes from a course they've all ridden with 1 vertical mile of elevation so stay fit.
