you should be able to feel the bearings move where it sits on the fork. If they are not moving , you need to have the hub serviced.(greased) |

Sep 19, 2003 9:01 PM | | I had the same problem. I took a small 2X4 and held it to the outside of the hub, then tapped the board with a hammer. The idea is to seat the pressed in bearings. The outer race may be just a fraction off from the inner race, forcing a slight drag on the ball bearings.
That's been a year ago and it's still spinning free. |
