Is there still riding in Keystone?

Does anyone here know if there is still riding in Keystone or other high Colorado areas? I'll be there this weekend.

Thanks,

I think the chairlifts closed a month ago, Sept 21st.

You can still ride there but you won't have lift service. A few of the resorts have started to make snow and I think Loveland is opening this weekend for skiing. It could be hit or miss... You could try their website and look for a web cam. That should tell you if there's much snow.

The weather in CO has been really warm lately. Record high on Sunday and mid 80's again today.

Coincidence!! I was looking at Keystone and the other resorts to see if they were still rideable just yesterday!!

Check www.colorado.net for webcams and all sorts of information. Yesterday I looked at a camera at Keystone around 11,300' and there wasn't a speck of moisture anywhere in the camera shot!!

try here: http://www.colorado.net/mtncams.cfm

If you ride up the hard way, the ride down is even better...

chair lift and shuttle anyway. I believe that if you come down, you gotta ride up. The weather on Keystone's website has it in the 50-60s and sunny. I'm going to try it.

How about road riding in the area. Any tips?

Thanks,
