Help me pick tires(2 posts)

Help me pick tiresTravis Bickle

I'm looking for some big tough tires for my 5 Spot. These will be used in Canadian Shield terrain, lots of granite, sharp edges, and wet roots. I would like a 2.3 to 2.5 that won't loose knobs, will stick like glue, and weigh under 1000gm. My research has turned up the 2.3 NBX, King Jim 2.35 with double protection, Fire FR 2.4, Hot S 2.5,and Kinetics 2.5 with sticky runbber. Any thoughts or other ideas would be appreciated.

The tires you listed all sound good, but I haven't used any of them, so I can't make a recomendation. I would suggest Michelin Energy's for your cab though.
