I am looking at Dave's wheels, Shimano's XT wheelset with discs, and might possibly wait for the SL Juicy Avids. Anyone have a killer setup (discs and tubeless) without a weight penalty that I could convert to? |

Oct 21, 2003 8:20 PM | | I started the year at 210lb, did 12 races. I did have to relace the rear wheel and I have magura martas more brakes that you need. Im down to 180lb. Next season same wheels. They are about 180.00 right now and not too heavy. |

I've heard some pretty lame stuff about the new xt & xtr centerlock set-up being noisy.
make sure to ask for "disc specific" 3.1 rims- they make a rim brake model too, same name. |
